A rectifier is a AC to DC type converter which is used in various applications including power supply and backup supply charger.
The rectifier are of two types:
- Full wave rectifier
- Half wave rectifier
Full wave rectifier
They are generally of two types which are classified as a
bridge rectifier circuit and center tap transformer circuit.
Half wave rectifier
They are of just single type made up of two diodes on the secondary end of the transformer.
